Drinking lemon juice and water to lose weight is not just a popular fad diet. Lemon juice reduces the acids that can lead to digestive diseases. Ann Louise Gittleman, author of "The Fast Track One Day Diet", says lemon juice detoxifies the body and can help you lose weight. However, as lemon juice influence on weight loss is not easy to understand, and can present health risks.
Vitamin C

In a 2003 study in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, water had increased thermogenetic or the ability to burn calories, and profit was boosted when heated to 15 degrees Celsius or 59 degrees Fahrenheit.
